Customer Services & Supply Chain Manager, East Yorkshire

We’re proud to be partnering with an innovative and forward-thinking manufacturing company on the lookout for an inspirational Customer Services Manager. This is your opportunity to take ownership of both the Customer Service and Supply Chain teams, working hand-in-hand with senior leadership to reshape the customer journey and drive service excellence.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the bridge between teams bringing energy, ideas, and a strategic mindset to enhance productivity, boost performance, and deliver an outstanding experience for every customer.

  • Key responsibilities:
    Lead and motivate the customer services function with a hands-on, proactive approach
    Handling any escalation of issues and complaints from customers
    Producing reports for senior management relating to sales and team activities
    Improve customer contact channels of telephone, email and live chat for a seamless customer experience
    Oversee and refine the customer returns process
    Train and develop staff
    Collaborate across internal departments to identify issues and provide solutions
    Overview the Planning function to identify efficiencies in costs and processes
    Lead regular meetings regarding the planned continuous improvement activities

What we're looking for:
Proven management experience across multi disciplines ideally in a manufacturing setting
Specialism in customer services management and passionate about delivering a first-class experience
Experience of change and transformation projects
Ability to delegate tasks and encourage and motivate teams
A confident approach to developing and forming new strategies
Puts the customer at the heart of the service provided
Own transport required due to location
